Below is an article entitled “A History of the Custer County Federated Womens Club”. I paid the writer, who is unnamed, $20 in 1988 for this article. The Women’s Club has a very rich history in Westcliffe, from putting on graduation dances and Nite Club programs to supporting the local library. So much sharing and history grew from these meetings of wonderful ladies. – Gary Martin
