Martin & Tope's
Colorado Mountain Agents
John
D. Martin, Founder
John,
along with William Tope, purchased from
Charley Files the drugstore building at
208 Main St. in Westcliffe, CO in 1972.
After some remodeling, they founded and
established Martin & Tope Realtors.

years of experience in land development
syndication, implementation and sales
proved invaluable as he guided the company
into its leading role in Custer County.
John turned over the reins to his son Gary

gained the respect of the local community
and the many who come from far away to
enjoy the Wet Mountain Valley. |

Mick
Kastendieck, Broker Associate
I was born and
raised here as a 4th generation
native to the Westcliffe area and been involved
in the real estate industry here with Martin &
Tope for over 25 years. I think these are great
assets in my ability to assist both Sellers and
Buyers. I am currently the Chief of the Wet
Mountain Volunteer Fire Department and I have
volunteered on different County civic boards in
the past. While I truly enjoy taking care of
our cattle and horses, fly fishing at any one of
the 52 natural lakes in our mountain range is my
passion. |

Visits to my
Grandparents mountain home here in Westcliffe when I
was a young girl are still some of my fondest
memories! In the late 1960’s my family re-located
here running Alpine Lodge. I graduated High School
here, met my husband, Mick, and we raised our two
children here enjoying what small town, rural living
can offer to quality of family life. My real estate
career began with Martin & Tope in 1982. I wouldn’t
want to live anywhere else and I don’t take God’s
beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains for granted – I
love hiking in, camping in, fishing in, horseback
riding in and just plain looking at them! |
Brenda
Bosse, Broker Associate
Brenda moved to the Wet Mountain Valley from Eastern Kansas in
1998. She is married and has 4 children. Three of her
children graduated from Custer County High School and are
now attending CSU in Fort Collins. Her oldest daughter
graduated from KU in Lawrence Kansas and lives here in
Westcliffe. Brenda has always loved the outdoors and
especially mountains! She has been selling and listing real
estate since 1994. Prior to this, she was an X-ray
technologist and mammographer for 27 years. Her hobbies
include stained glass, needlepoint, water skiing, and best
of all - exploring mountain trails in the Sangres. Brenda
really enjoys her job and loves meeting new people.

Neil
Kastendieck, Broker Associate
A 5th
generation native of the Westcliffe area, I am
descended directly from the original
homesteaders and colonists to the area. I
joined my parents as a second generation to a
great team of real estate agents with Martin &
Tope in April of 2001. I am currently Inventory
Officer and 3rd Lieutenant with the
Wet Mountain Fire Protection District
(volunteer) and have a background in ranching
and construction. Growing up here in the Wet
Mountain Valley kindled my outdoor interests
with our family camping and skiing trips and to
this day there are only two seasons in Colorado
in my book: fishing season and skiing season. |
Lisa
Frank,
Broker Associate
Lisa Frank moved to
Westcliffe in 1996 from
Phoenix, Arizona with her
new husband Harald, who had
been living in the Wet
Mountain Valley for several
years. She took the
opportunity to try new
avenues when she arrived,
and through working for a
variety of small
businesses, she has come to
know many of the residents.
After discovering
"land looking" to
be a passion, Lisa decided
to sell real estate and
joined the Martin &
Tope sales team. She is an
active member of the Wet
Mountain Valley Saddle Club
and enjoys riding,
breeding, and selling her
horses.

I have been visiting the valley my
whole life. My father Dominick was raised here
by Chuck and Norma on a ranch North of
Westcliffe where they grew organic vegetables
and sold them. My father graduated from Custer
County High School.
I was born and raised in Colorado and graduated
from Central High School. I attended Pueblo
Community College where I studied Business
Management and Accounting and then later went
back to school to study Interior Design,
Architectural Drafting, Designer Finishes (Faux,
Stenciling, and Mural) and now with ALL of that
background I decided to put all of my knowledge
into one field and go into Real Estate.
I feel that my whole life I have been training
for what I do and Love to do today and that is
customer service in Real Estate at Martin and
Tope.
I chose Martin and Tope after working for Gary
and Jaci Martin as weekend receptionist and
assistant to Brenda Bosse. We are like one BIG
Family here. The training is Top Notch and I am
working along side of some of the Best Brokers
in the Valley that have been with Martin and
Tope for over 7 years and some for more than 10
years.
I truly feel fortunate to call Martin and Tope
Real Estate Company my choice! |
Cathy
Piquette, Receptionist
What a tremendous blessing it is to be a part of the successful Martin & Tope Real Estate team! Everyone here is looking for just one thing – to provide each client with the BEST customer service possible! I’m excited and grateful to be the first contact for many soon-to-be friends!
I am also a sixth generation Custer County, Colorado native. My husband and I have six grown children and are grandparents to more than a dozen. I enjoy sewing, counted cross-stitch, classical music, and reading in my spare time.
I look forward to speaking with you soon! |
